The country’s overall inflation saw a slight increase in November, reaching 8.29%, according to the latest data released by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS). In October 2025, the point-to-point national inflation rate stood at 8.17%. However, inflation has fallen sharply compared to the same month last year, when it was 11.38%. In November, food inflation rose to 7.36%, up from 7.08% in October.

চলতি বছরের নভেম্বরে পয়েন্ট-টু-পয়েন্ট ভিত্তিতে মূল্যস্ফীতি বেড়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে ৮ দশমিক ২৯ শতাংশে, যা অক্টোবরে ছিল ৮ দশমিক ১৭ শতাংশ। রোববার (৭ নভেম্বর) বাংলাদেশ পরিসংখ্যান ব্যুরো (বিবিএস) প্রকাশিত সাম্প্রতিক প্রতিবেদনে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়। বিবিএসের তথ্য অনুযায়ী, নভেম্বরে খাদ্য মূল্যস্ফীতি হয়েছে ৭ দশমিক ৩৬ শতাংশ এবং খাদ্যবহির্ভূত মূল্যস্ফীতি দাঁড়িয়েছে ৯ দশমিক ০৮ শতাংশে। টানা দুই মাস ধরে খাদ্য মূল্যস্ফীতি বাড়তে থাকলেও গত বছরের একই সময়ের তুলনায় তা কম। গত বছরের নভেম্বরে খাদ্য মূল্যস্ফীতি ছিল ১৩ দশমিক ৮০ শতাংশ এবং খাদ্যবহির্ভূত মূল্যস্ফীতি ছিল ৯ দশমিক ৩৯ শতাংশ।
