Iran's military has announced a suspension of military operations against Israel. However, it has warned that if Israel attacks Iran or Lebanon again, it will respond more strongly and powerfully than before.

A statement from the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Iran's top military command, said, "The ongoing operations of the armed forces have been announced." The Iranian semi-official Fars news agency reported this information, reports BBC.

Shortly before Iran's announcement, US President Donald Trump called for an immediate end to the attacks and a ceasefire.

In a post on Truth Social, he wrote that Iran and Israel are now "moving towards an immediate ceasefire" and that final peace talks are underway unless someone's foolishness gets in the way on Monday.

It should be noted that the ceasefire that came into effect last April was threatened when the two countries began exchanging attacks on Sunday night.

In a statement carried by state media, the Iranian armed forces said the Israeli regime and its supporters should learn from the latest raid. If the aggression and hostile actions continue, more destructive measures will be taken than before.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian armed group Hamas thanked Iran and Yemen for carrying out the raid on Israel. In a statement, they said that Israel's unbridled aggression is the cause of regional tensions and dangerous reactions in the international arena.
