At least 555 people have been killed in US and Israeli strikes across Iran, the Iranian Red Crescent Society has said. Among the dead are nearly 200 people in a single school in the southern city of Minab.

Citing local officials, Iran's Mehr News Agency reported that at least 35 people were killed in the southwestern province of Fars alone. The devastating aerial attacks over the past few days have turned one after another Iranian settlement into rubble, plunging the humanitarian situation in the Middle East into extreme crisis.

According to information provided by the Iranian Red Crescent, at least 131 cities across the country have been hit by these devastating attacks. As residential areas and civilian infrastructure have been targeted alongside military installations in many places, the scale of casualties and damage has multiplied. Rescue operations led by the Red Crescent's humanitarian mission are continuing without interruption in affected cities.

Over 100,000 rescue workers and emergency responders are operating on maximum alert nationwide to tackle the situation. A vast network of approximately 4 million volunteers across the country is currently ready to provide humanitarian services, medical assistance, and psychosocial support to those affected.

Rescuers are continuing their desperate efforts to pull casualties from beneath the rubble in affected areas, including Fars province. Mehr News reported that relief operations are being disrupted in many places due to communication and power systems being cut off.
