Iran has firmly denied Israeli allegations that it launched missiles toward Israel following a recently agreed ceasefire, according to statements from Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB and the ISNA news agency. The denials come after Israel’s Defence Minister, Israel Katz, accused Iran of violating the truce and ordered “intense strikes” targeting Tehran in response. Earlier reports from Israeli media indicated that the Israeli military intercepted two ballistic missiles believed to have been fired from Iranian territory. The developments heighten tensions between the two countries despite ongoing ceasefire efforts.

ইরানের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধবিরতি চুক্তি লঙ্ঘনের অভিযোগ করেছে ইসরায়েল। তবে ক্ষেপণাস্ত্র নিক্ষেপ নিয়ে ইরানের রাষ্ট্রীয় সম্প্রচারমাধ্যম আইআরআইবি এবং ইসনা বার্তা সংস্থা জানিয়েছে, ইরানের দিক থেকে যুদ্ধবিরতি চুক্তি হওয়ার পর ইসরায়েলে ক্ষেপণাস্ত্র ছোড়ার অভিযোগটি জোরালোভাবে অস্বীকার করা হয়েছে। এর আগে ইসরায়েলের প্রতিরক্ষামন্ত্রী ইসরায়েল কাটজ অভিযোগ করেন, যুদ্ধবিরতি চুক্তি লঙ্ঘন করে ইরান ইসরায়েলের দিকে ক্ষেপণাস্ত্র ছুড়েছে। এ ঘটনার জবাবে তিনি তেহরানের ওপর ‘তীব্র হামলার’ নির্দেশ দেন। ইসরায়েলি সংবাদমাধ্যমগুলোর খবরে বলা হয়, ইরানের ভূখণ্ড থেকে ছোড়া দুটি ব্যালিস্টিক ক্ষেপণাস্ত্র ইসরায়েলি প্রতিরক্ষা ব্যবস্থা দ্বারা মাঝ আকাশেই ভূপাতিত করা হয়েছে। এদিকে চলমান যুদ্ধবিরতির মধ্যেই এই ঘটনাগুলো ইরান ও ইসরায়েলের মধ্যে উত্তেজনাকে আরও বাড়িয়ে তুলছে।
