Iran launches fresh drone, missile attacks on US bases in Kuwait, Jordan

In response to US military strikes in the Middle East, Iran has carried out new drone and missile attacks targeting American military installations in Kuwait and Jordan. Iran’s military announced the development on Thursday.

In a statement, the Iranian military said drone attacks have been launched again targeting three US military bases in Kuwait. However, it did not provide details about the attack in Jordan.

On the other hand, Jordan’s military said that at least four missiles fired from Iran entered its airspace on Thursday morning. Three of them were intercepted while the remaining one fell in an uninhabited area, causing no casualties.

Earlier on Wednesday evening, the Jordanian army claimed to have thwarted six drone attacks.

Amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East, successive retaliatory strikes are further complicating the regional security situation.
