Iran's navy is ready to confront the enemy once again with full force, the country's supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei has warned. In a speech marking Iran's Armed Forces Day on Saturday, April 18, he issued the warning directed at the United States and Israel. Khamenei described US and Israeli forces as "infidels" and "extremists" and reaffirmed his commitment to continuing resistance against them. In the message posted on Telegram, Khamenei claimed that Iran's military power has exposed the weakness of its adversaries before the world. He said Iran's drone strikes have dealt sudden and powerful blows to the enemy. He further noted that Iran's navy is prepared to respond even more harshly to enemies in the future. ইরানের নৌবাহিনী শত্রুপক্ষকে আবারও কঠোরভাবে মোকাবিলা করতে প্রস্তুত- এমনই বার্তা দিয়েছেন দেশটির সর্বোচ্চ নেতা মোজতবা খামেনি। শনিবার (১৮ এপ্রিল) ইরানের সশস্ত্র বাহিনী দিবস উপলক্ষে দেওয়া এক বক্তব্যে তিনি যুক্তরাষ্ট্র ও ইসরায়েলকে উদ্দেশ করে এই সতর্কবার্তা উচ্চারণ করেন। তিনি মার্কিন ও ইসরায়েলি বাহিনীকে ‘অবিশ্বাসী’ ও ‘চরমপন্থী’ হিসেবে আখ্যায়িত করে তাদের বিরুদ্ধে প্রতিরোধ চালিয়ে যাওয়ার অঙ্গীকার পুনর্ব্যক্ত করেন। টেলিগ্রামে প্রকাশিত ওই বার্তায় খামেনি দাবি করেন, ইরানের সামরিক শক্তি বিশ্ববাসীর সামনে প্রতিপক্ষের দুর্বলতা প্রকাশ করেছে। তিনি বলেন, ইরানের ড্রোন হামলা শত্রুদের ওপর আকস্মিক ও শক্তিশালী আঘাত হেনেছে। এছাড়া তিনি আরও উল্লেখ করেন, ইরানের নৌবাহিনী ভবিষ্যতে শত্রুদের বিরুদ্ধে আরও কঠোর প্রতিক্রিয়া দেখাতে প্রস্তুত রয়েছে।
