Iran has sent a new proposal through mediator Pakistan regarding the goal of negotiations with the United States, according to Iranian state media. A report by IRNA said the Islamic Republic of Iran handed over the draft of its latest proposal for potential talks with the United States to Pakistan on Thursday evening. Earlier, Tehran had proposed a non-nuclear agreement that could have paved the way for resolving the conflict. That proposal had suggested that discussions on Iran's nuclear programme be held at a later stage. However, former US President Donald Trump rejected that proposal, according to the report.
