An Iranian ballistic missile hit Soroka Hospital in Beersheba on Thursday morning, as air raid sirens sounded across Israel following a missile barrage launched from Iran.

The Soroka Hospital spokesperson confirmed damage to the facility, along with extensive destruction reported in various other locations.

Loud explosions were heard across central Israel, with multiple direct impact sites reported. Magen David Adom (MDA) said at least 25 people sustained light injuries from the missile strikes across the country.

Israeli media reported that at least 20 missiles were launched from Iranian territory.

In the immediate aftermath of the sirens, at least three direct impact sites were confirmed. MDA is currently surveying additional reported impact locations.

Rescue teams are actively working at one site to assist people trapped in an elevator, according to the Israel Fire and Rescue Service.
