Iran’s police intelligence chief Gholamreza Rezaian was killed during US and Israeli strikes yesterday (February 28), according to the state-linked Fars News Agency. Rezaian previously served in several senior security roles, including head of Immigration and Foreign Nationals Police, chief of intelligence and public security police, and director of the General Inspector’s Office within Iran’s national police structure. No further details regarding the circumstances of his death were immediately released.
