Islami Andolon Bangladesh announces support for Sarjis Alam

Islami Andolan Bangladesh has announced its support for Sarjis Alam, the candidate nominated by an 11-party alliance from Panchagarh-1 constituency in the 13th National Parliament elections.

Since the party does not have a candidate of its own, it is supporting Sarjis Alam, the leader of the July Movement, in the interest of ethical and people-friendly politics, said
a leader of the Islami Andolan Bangladesh district unit committee.

Earlier, leaders from different levels of the party met with Sarjis Alam and expressed their support.

Local leaders said that Islami Andolan Bangladesh has no candidate in this constituency. Therefore, they will spontaneously work for Sarjis Alam's Shapla Kali symbol. Since the meeting, the party leaders and workers have been campaigning for Sarjis Alam on social media.

Moin Uddin, the leader of the Islami Jubo Andolon's district committee, said that support has been given to Sarjis Alam, the main organizer of the northern region of the NCP, as one of the fighters of the July Movement, above party affiliation.
