Israel claims air attacks targeting 6 Iranian airports

The Israeli military announced that it conducted air strikes on at least six airports across western, eastern, and central Iran.

In a statement posted on its official Hebrew account on X, Israel stated that remotely operated aircraft destroyed 15 Iranian planes and helicopters.

An accompanying image identified the targeted airports, including Tehran’s Mehrabad, Mashhad, and Dezful.

“The strikes damaged runways, underground bunkers, a refueling aircraft, as well as F-14, F-5, and AH-1 aircraft belonging to the Iranian regime,” the statement said.

“The Air Force disrupted the ability of these airports to support takeoffs and impaired the operational capacity of the Iranian military’s air power.”
