Israel has claimed that it has carried out an attack targeting Iran's Intelligence Minister Ismail Khatib and that he has been killed. Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz made this claim, according to a report by Qatar-based media Al Jazeera.

Israel's Channel 12 reported that an airstrike was carried out targeting the Iranian intelligence minister. However, authorities have stated that the outcome of the operation is still being assessed. No official comment has been received from Iran's side regarding this matter yet.

Meanwhile, Iran has launched massive missile strikes inside Israel in retaliation for the killings of National Security Chief Ali Larijani and Basij paramilitary force commander Gholamreza Soleimani. At least two people have been killed in central Israel and various installations have been damaged.

Al Jazeera reported that missiles struck Tel Aviv and the adjacent areas of Bnei Brak and Ramat Gan. An elderly couple in their seventies were killed in Ramat Gan. Witnesses said the missile directly hit inside their home.

Additionally, several people were injured in the Sharon area and Bnei Brak. A major railway station in Tel Aviv was damaged in the attack. Train services across the country have been temporarily suspended due to security concerns.

Sirens have sounded multiple times in central Israel over the past hour, spreading panic among the public.

According to military analysts, coordinated attacks by Iran and Hezbollah are putting immense pressure on Israel's air defence system. Hezbollah is firing around 100 rockets daily from the north, now combined with Iran's long-range missiles.

Although most missiles are being intercepted in the air, some are hitting targets. In some cases, debris from interceptor missiles falling to the ground is also causing damage.

Iran has stated that these attacks are in retaliation for the previous killings.
