The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the elimination of Major General Ali Shadmani, head of the Khatam-al Anbiya (Air Defense Force) Central Headquarters and Iran’s War-Time Chief of Staff.

According to the IDF, following precise intelligence from its Intelligence Directorate, the Israeli Air Force conducted a targeted strike overnight on a staffed command center in central Tehran, killing Shadmani. He was described as the regime’s senior military commander and a close confidant of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Shadmani commanded the emergency command center responsible for managing Iran’s combat operations and approving firepower plans. He played a key role in directing operational strategies against Israel. Prior to this appointment, he served as Deputy Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya command center and Head of Operations in the Iranian Armed Forces’ General Staff.

His elimination follows the killing of his predecessor, Alaa Ali Rashid, during the initial strike of Operation Rising Lion. The IDF stated that this latest operation further disrupts the leadership and command structure of Iran’s military forces.
