Israeli attacks kill 430 in Iran: Health Ministry
According to a Health Ministry the death toll from Israeli airstrikes in Iran rose to 430, with more than 3,500 civilians wounded since the start of the attacks on June 13, reports Iranian Media outlet Nour News Agency.
This is the first time that the Iranian government has officially released updated casualty figures since the conflict began.
Earlier on Sunday, the Health Ministry said the death toll was 224. However, the Human Rights Activist News Agency claimed that the death toll had reached 657 as of Friday.
Meanwhile, local media in the country reported, citing Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), that five people were killed in an Israeli attack in the city of Khorramabad on Saturday. Additionally, at least 15 officers and soldiers of Iran's Air Defense Force lost their lives in the conflict.
