Israeli massacre continues in the West Bank, 1,047 Palestinians killed so far
The Israeli army has continued its attacks and aggression in the occupied West Bank, as well as in the besieged Gaza Strip. They are also waging a massacre against the inhabitants of Palestinian lands in order to occupy them.
Also on Sunday (September 28), Israeli forces killed 24-year-old Palestinian Mahmoud Akkad and wounded several others in an attack near the town of Qalqilya in the northwestern West Bank. Attacks are ongoing in the towns of Nablus and al-Ram. However, Israeli forces claimed that Mahmoud Akkad, a resident of the Khilat al-Amud area of Nablus city, was trying to attack Israelis by driving a car. In the incident, one Israeli was seriously injured.
Citing the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Qatari media outlet Al Jazeera reported that Israeli forces and illegal settlers have been attacking Palestinians in the West Bank since the start of the Gaza War on October 7, 2023. These attacks have killed at least 1,047 people and injured more than 10,000 Palestinians.
Medics also said another Palestinian was wounded by Israeli army gunfire near the border wall between the city of al-Ram and occupied East Jerusalem. The Palestine Red Crescent Society said its teams treated a 33-year-old Palestinian man who was shot by Israeli forces in al-Rameh.
Turkish news agency Anadolu reported that Israeli forces raided the city of Nablus again on Monday (September 29), including the home of Mahmoud Akkad, who was shot dead the previous day. Several Palestinians were injured by live ammunition, rubber bullets, and tear gas they fired.
