Three high-ranking commanders of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) intelligence apparatus were killed on Sunday (June 15) in an Israeli airstrike, according to the Iranian news agency Tasnim.

In a statement, the IRGC identified the slain officials as Gen. Mohammad Kazemi, head of the IRGC Intelligence Organization; Gen. Hassan Mohaqeq, deputy intelligence chief of the IRGC; and Gen. Mohsen Bagheri, senior intelligence officer, reports Anadolu Ajansi.

Israel launched coordinated airstrikes on multiple sites across Iran, including military and nuclear facilities, on Friday, prompting Tehran to launch retaliatory strikes. Attacks and counterattacks have continued since then.

Israeli authorities said at least 13 people were killed and more than 370 others injured in Iranian missile attacks.

Meanwhile, according to the Iranian Health Ministry, at least 128 people were killed and 900 others injured since the Israeli attacks started on Friday.
