Jamal-Shamit reach Vietnam

The Bangladesh football team has reached Vietnam to play an international friendly match. The team, which left last night, reached Hanoi on Saturday morning.

Bangladesh will face host Vietnam in the friendly match on March 26. After that, they will play against Singapore in the Group C match of the Asian Cup qualifiers on March 31.

Vietnam and Singapore are far ahead of Bangladesh in the FIFA rankings. Vietnam is ranked 108, Singapore is 148. Bangladesh is ranked 180th.

Bangladesh has finalized the squad by excluding 6 people from the initial 28-member team before the Vietnam tour. After announcing the initial team, 28 footballers have been practicing in a camp in Dhaka for the past week. Leicester City midfielder Hamza Chowdhury has been included in the final squad. He is scheduled to go to Vietnam and join his team.
