Dhaka is set for a high-voltage musical night as rock legend James set to takes the stage at Manik Mia Avenue this evening (February 17), turning the capital into a sea of sound and lights.

The open-air concert, to be held in front of the iconic Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, is being organised by the Sobar Agey Bangladesh Foundation and promises an electrifying return of large-scale live music in the city.

Known as the ‘Nagar Baul’, James will go live at 7:00pm on Tuesday, confirmed his manager Rubaiyat Thakur Robin.

After months of relative silence on the concert front, the show is expected to draw thousands of fans eager to relive the magic of live rock under the open sky.

Adding to the sonic storm, legendary rock band Warfaze and crowd-favourite Shironamhin will also set perform with their signature hits.

With big concerts scarce in recent months and several planned international shows called off, tonight’s event signals a much-awaited revival of Dhaka’s open-air music culture — a celebration of homegrown band music, energy and unity.
