Japan delivered a commanding performance to defeat Tunisia 4–0 in a one-sided World Cup encounter, showcasing control, pace and clinical finishing from start to finish.

The match, played under clear dominance by the Asian side, saw Japan take early control and never allow Tunisia to settle into rhythm.

Daichi Kamada opened the scoring in the 4th minute, giving Japan a perfect start and immediately putting Tunisia under pressure. The early setback left the African side struggling to respond as Japan continued to dictate play.

Ayase Ueda doubled the lead in the 31st minute with a sharp counter-attacking finish, sending Japan into the break with a comfortable 2–0 advantage.

Tunisia attempted to regroup in the second half but found no way through Japan’s disciplined structure and high-intensity pressing.

Junya Ito extended the lead in the 69th minute, capitalising on another swift attacking move to make it 3–0.

Late in the game, Ueda struck again in the 83rd minute to complete his brace and seal a resounding 4–0 victory for Japan.

Ueda emerged as one of the standout performers with two goals, while Japan’s fluid attacking transitions and midfield control proved decisive throughout the match.

Tunisia, meanwhile, struggled to create meaningful chances and were repeatedly overwhelmed by Japan’s pace and organisation.

The emphatic win strengthens Japan’s position in the group and reinforces their status as one of the most disciplined and dangerous sides in the tournament.
