In an interview with the Kolkata-based YouTube channel 'Indulge Express', she revealed for the first time that she is in a long-term romantic relationship. Jaya said that her 'special person' is not from the film industry, and they both live a very private life. Although they have been together for many years, their work often keeps them apart. She especially likes her partner’s calm nature. Speaking about marriage, Jaya said she has not made any decision yet. She admitted that she has a kind of fear about marriage, which may come from her past experiences.
