Jaya Ahsan reveals what she loves about getting older
With age, she says she is becoming more courageous and adventurous. But the most interesting part is that she is enjoying watching herself gradually begin to resemble her father. Popular actress Jaya Ahsan has shared these thoughts.
In a recent 'rapid fire' segment of a video interview given to Indian media outlet 'The Wall', responding to a question about age, Jaya said, "I am beginning to look like my father." She also revealed that with time, she is becoming more adventurous—there is nothing she says 'no' to doing.
Jaya's film 'OCD', directed by Soukarya Ghoshal, was released in West Bengal on February 6. She participated in the interview for the film's promotion. There she also spoke about films from both Bengals. In her words, she is getting opportunities to work on diverse projects in both industries.
Before 'OCD', she worked in 'Dear Maa' and 'Putulnacher Itikatha'. Referring to the three films as three different experiences, Jaya said one is a family drama, one has a classic flavour, and 'OCD' carries a strong social message. As an artist, she considers herself fortunate to work on such diverse characters.
Jaya also informed that her films 'Utshab' and 'Tandab' were successful in Bangladeshi theatres last year. Mentioning that more new work is coming, she spoke about a film titled 'Roid'.
Regarding social media, Jaya said it is not her personal space; rather, it is a formal platform to present the image named 'Jaya Ahsan'. However, she occasionally shares personal matters.
On the question of age, Jaya concluded with her characteristic humour; time is increasing, experience is growing, courage is rising; and becoming like her father is also a joy for her.
