The presiding officer of a center in Jhenaidah-4 constituency has been withdrawn after 23 result sheets signed by agents with paddy sheaf and scale symbols were recovered. The presiding officer of the center number 5, Solimunnesa Secondary Girls' School, Assistant Engineer of the Department of Public Health Engineering, Jasmine Ara, was withdrawn at 10:30pm on Wednesday. The matter was confirmed by Rizwana Nahid, Assistant Returning Officer of Jhenaidah-4 constituency. She said that Shamsuzzaman Khan, a senior lecturer at Shaheed Noor Ali College, has been appointed as the new presiding officer at the center.

ঝিনাইদহ-৪ আসনের সলিমুন্নেছা বালিকা বিদ্যালয় কেন্দ্রে ধানের শীষ এবং দাঁড়িপাল্লা প্রতীকের এজেন্টের স্বাক্ষরিত ২৩টি রেজাল্ট শিট উদ্ধার হওয়ার ঘটনায় ওই কেন্দ্রের প্রিজাইডিং অফিসারকে প্রত্যাহার করা হয়েছে। বুধবার (১১ ফেব্রুয়ারি) রাত সাড়ে ১০টার দিকে ৫ নম্বর কেন্দ্র সলিমুন্নেছা মাধ্যমিক বালিকা বিদ্যালয় কেন্দ্রের প্রিজাইংডিং অফিসার জনস্বাস্থ্য প্রকৌশল অধিদপ্তরের সহকারী প্রকৌশলী জেসমিন আরাকে প্রত্যাহার করা হয়েছে। বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছেন ঝিনাইদহ-৪ আসনের সহকারী রিটার্নিং অফিসার রিজওয়ানা নাহিদ। তিনি বলেন, ওই কেন্দ্রে নতুন প্রিজাইডিং অফিসার করা হয়েছে শহীদ নুর আলী কলেজের জ্যেষ্ঠ প্রভাষক সামছুজ্জামান খান।
