Joint forces recover 7 grenades from Mohammadpur

The joint forces conducted an operation based on secret information that there were grenades in the Lautala slum in the 40 feet area of ​​Mohammadpur in the capital. Seven grenades of different types were recovered in the operation.

The operation was conducted in the slum from 12:30 pm to 2 pm on Tuesday (January 28). The operation was conducted by a joint team of the army and the police.

The recovered grenades include 1 hand grenade, 3 sound grenades and 3 smoke grenades.

No one was arrested during the rescue operation. Mohammadpur Police Station is preparing a Caesar list and handing over the grenades to the police station. Legal proceedings are underway in this regard. It is believed that the grenades were looted from the police station on August 5.

Mohammadpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ali Iftekhar Hasan said that the operation was conducted based on secret information. Various types of grenades looted from the police station were recovered in the operation. Legal proceedings are ongoing in this regard.
