The film 'Jongli', directed by M Raahim, will be released in theaters in Bangladesh on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. After that, it will be released in various countries worldwide on April 25. The promotional campaign for the film has already begun, and the global release date has been announced.

The movie will be internationally sponsored by several companies, including Swapna Scarecrow, Bongoj, and Rivera.

The film's new poster was unveiled on Monday, along with the announcement of its overseas release date. Zahid Hasan Abhi, head of the production company The Abhi Kathachitra, revealed that the film will be released in the United States, Australia, Canada, Ireland, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Sweden, Italy, France, Germany, Malaysia, the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, and Oman.

The main roles in Jongli are portrayed by Siam Ahmed, Shobnom Bubly, and Prarthana Fardin Dighi. The first song from the film, “Jonom Jonom,” has already been released. The song features lyrics and music by Prince Mahmud, music arrangement by Imran Mahmudul, and vocals by Tahsan Khan and Atiya Anisa. It showcases the romance between Siam and Dighi, though Bubly’s character has yet to be revealed.

From the poster and song, it is inferred that Siam and Dighi share a romantic relationship, and an unexpected event causes a transformation in Siam's character, turning him into "Jongli." Shobnom Bubly’s character plays a crucial role in this transformation. The pre-teaser reveals some scenes of Siam and Dighi’s relationship, featuring the line, “Everyone loves, but no one becomes Jongli out of love!”

For his role, Siam refrained from cutting his hair or beard for seven months and stayed fully immersed in his character throughout the filming process.

Though 'Jongli' was initially set for release during the last Eid-ul-Adha, the director later decided to change the release date.

M Raahim said, "My team and I wanted the film to debut at an international festival. I believe the audience will embrace it after its theatrical release."
