'Kaanta Laga' fame Shefali Jariwala dies at 42

Popular Bollywood actress and well-known ‘Kaanta Laga’ girl Shefali Jariwala has passed away. On Thursday night (June 27), she suddenly fell ill and was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared her dead. She was 42 years old at the time of her death.

According to Indian entertainment portal Pinkvilla, Shefali’s husband, actor Parag Tyagi, rushed her to the hospital. However, the exact cause of her death is still unknown. It is suspected that she may have died of a heart attack. Doctors said nothing can be confirmed until the autopsy report is available.

Her sudden death has cast a shadow of sorrow over the Bollywood industry. Several sources have also said that her death has raised questions and created some mystery.

Shefali Jariwala rose to fame overnight in 2002 by appearing in the remake music video of the song Kaanta Laga. After that, she appeared in several music videos and reality shows. In 2019, she came back into the limelight by participating in Bigg Boss 13.
