Kartik Aaryan hospitalised after injury on shooting set
Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has been hospitalised after suffering a serious injury while shooting an action sequence. He was admitted to Mumbai's Fortis Raheja Hospital after injuring his knee ligament on the set of director Kabir Khan's new film.
According to Indian media outlet India Today, only two days of shooting remained for the film. The accident occurred during a risky sequence, following extensive physical preparation and action training. Shooting was halted immediately, and Kartik was taken to the hospital.
Citing sources close to the hospital and the production team, it has been reported that doctors are monitoring the condition of his knee and surgery may be required soon. He will need complete rest for some time after the operation.
Due to this injury, work on Kabir Khan's new film, as well as director Anurag Basu's next project, may be temporarily delayed.
Recently, Kartik Aaryan won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in 'Chandu Champion'. He is also set to appear in upcoming films 'Nagzilla' and 'Captain India'.
