Khalilur-Jaishankar meeting held in Delhi

Bangladesh’s Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman, currently on a visit to Delhi, met with India’s Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar.

In a message shared via X, India’s Foreign Minister expressed his pleasure in hosting Dr. Khalilur Rahman and his delegation on Wednesday (April 8).

He stated that they discussed ways to strengthen various aspects of bilateral relations and also exchanged views on regional and global developments.

Both sides agreed to maintain close communication.

During the visit, Dr. Khalilur Rahman is also scheduled to meet India’s Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal and the Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri.

The Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Adviser, Humayun Kabir, will also join these meetings.

Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman arrived in Delhi on Tuesday for his three-day visit and is scheduled to depart for Mauritius on April 9 at noon.
