Khilari set to release in 15 theatres nationwide today

The highly anticipated Bangladeshi film "Khilari" premieres nationwide today, releasing in more than 15 cinemas across the country.

The film, directed by Shafiullah, stars Zara Zaman and Shahenshah in the lead roles.

Describing it as a commercial entertainer, Shafiullah said the movie blends action, emotion, and surprises, offering audiences a fresh visual experience.

Filming took place across scenic locations in Bagerhat, Khulna, Bandarban, Khagrachhari, and Cox’s Bazar, carefully selected to maintain narrative flow and character depth.

Lead actress Zara expressed her excitement, calling the role a major challenge that allowed her to explore both glamour and action.

Lead actor Shahenshah added that the film portrays a common man’s struggle, responsibility, and emotion, promising a mix of action and sentiment for viewers.

The cast also includes Nana Shah, Ujjal, Eva Rahman, Shamsul Hadi, Akash, Ali, Anwar Hossain, and Tanvir Sheikh. Music is composed by Tania Ahid, with songs performed by Beli Afroze, Mom Rahman, and Sharmin Akter.
