Kona embarks on three-month concert tour across 16 US cities

Popular singer Dilshad Nahar Kona has embarked on a lengthy concert tour across the United States. Spanning nearly three months, the tour will see her perform in 16 cities across the country. It is understood to be one of the longest music tours by a Bangladeshi artist abroad.

Kona left for the United States on Tuesday (July 21) but did not initially disclose details of the tour. On Saturday (July 26), she announced on social media that the concert tour was being organised by Deshi Music Entertainment.

According to organisers, the music tour will run from July 25 to October 3. During this time, she will perform in 16 US cities, including Indiana, Michigan, Atlantic City, Los Angeles, Oklahoma City, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Boston, Orlando, Washington DC, Miami, Atlanta, Abilene, Arizona and New York.

Before leaving for the US, Kona wrote to her fans on social media: "Dear Americans, I am coming to your city. Let us enjoy some memorable moments together."

Meanwhile, Kona's latest song 'Tomar Hote Chai' was released on July 11 on CMV's YouTube channel. The lyrics were written by Rabiul Islam Jibon, with music and composition by Sajib Das. Sajib Das also sang a duet with Kona on the track. The song was used in the tele-drama 'Bhalobashar Golpo', directed by Rafat Mazumder Rinku.
