Labonno Akter Sinthia: From makeup artist to promising face in showbiz

Labonno Akter Sinthia began her career as a makeup artist and beauty expert, but she is now establishing her presence in the showbiz arena as well. Modelling, acting, brand promotions and live content—she is busy with multifaceted work.

Taking beauty services as her profession, she has established her own venture, Labonno Makeover Beauty Salon, of which she is the proprietor. As a young woman entrepreneur, this salon represents a significant space where her dreams have materialised.

Her journey in showbiz began in 2015, but she has been working regularly in the media since 2019. She came to the attention of audiences through two music videos with singer Akash Mahmood—'Chhaira Dilam Jare Pakhi' and 'Pran Sokhi Re'. Additionally, she has acted in several dramas.

Alongside her own career, she teaches underprivileged girls in society the skills of parlour work free of cost. She believes a skill can change a girl's life. Those trained by her have now started earning, are supporting their families, and have gained the courage to live with dignity.

In 2018, she also gained experience working with BRAC and UNICEF on development activities. Growing up in the Savar and Ashulia areas, this young woman has come through struggles since childhood, which has inspired her to do something for others.

In the future, she wishes to remain regularly involved in acting if she receives quality stories and good work offers. Alongside this, Labonno Akter Sinthia aims to move forward with the goal of training more girls to make them self-reliant, bringing change in others' lives alongside her own success.
