Lakshya, Vedika Pinto team up for romantic psychological thriller

Vedika Pinto, who gained attention with Musafir Cafe, is set to star opposite Lakshya in director Prasith Roy’s next film, which will blend romance with psychological thriller elements.

The film’s title has yet to be finalised. According to the makers’ plans, the story will centre on a romantic relationship while exploring emotional conflicts, complex relationships and the psychological struggles of its characters.

The project marks the first on-screen pairing of Lakshya and Pinto, creating interest around their chemistry and the contrasting roles they are expected to play.

Unlike a conventional romantic film, the story will use suspense and mystery alongside its emotional narrative. The characters’ mental states and the complications within their relationship are expected to drive the plot.

Pinto rose to prominence following Musafir Cafe, while Lakshya has recently been taking on more diverse roles. The new project is expected to present both actors in a different setting from their previous work.
