Lies are temporary, truth is eternal: Shabnur's cryptic post sparks fresh buzz

Actress Shabnur has sparked fresh speculation with a cryptic social media post amid renewed discussion surrounding the investigation into the death of popular actor Salman Shah.

"Lies are temporary, but truth is eternal," Shabnur wrote on her Instagram account on Tuesday (August 18).

The actress did not identify anyone in the post or directly refer to the Salman Shah murder case. Her message, however, comes at a time when renewed attention has been focused on the case and on claims involving her.

Actor and accused Ashraful Haque Don, one of the suspects in the case, was recently arrested.

During a court hearing, the prosecution cited details from his earlier statement and alleged that Salman Shah was killed and the incident was made to appear as suicide. The allegations have not been conclusively established by the court.

Shabnur has also become the subject of discussion on social media in connection with the case, with some users calling for her arrest. Salman Shah’s mother, Neela Chowdhury, however, has rejected such claims, saying Shabnur and her son were like siblings and denying that they had a romantic relationship.

Salman Shah and Shabnur were among the most popular on-screen pairs in Bangladeshi cinema. Their partnership began with Tumi Amar and continued across 14 films, including Sujon Sokhi, Bikkhov, Shopner Thikana, Tomake Chai, Jibon Songsar, Chawa Theke Pawa, Prem Piyasi, Shopner Nayok and Anondo Osru.

Shabnur has not clarified what prompted her latest post. Her message has nevertheless added fresh intrigue to the ongoing public discussion surrounding Salman Shah’s death.
