Liton breaks Shakib's record

Liton has become the highest run scorer for Bangladesh in international T20Is. In a career of 114 matches and 112 innings, his collection has now broken the record of Shakib to 2,556 runs.

Before his unwritten retirement, Bangladesh's all-time best cricketer scored 2,551 runs in 129 matches and 127 innings.
