Litton Das has been ruled out of the upcoming only Test match against Zimbabwe due to injury. As a result, the Tigers will have to take the field without Bangladesh's regular captain.

Litton has been out of the field since he strained his leg muscle in the last match of the ODI series against Australia. Due to that injury, he is missing the entire T20 series. Now it has been learned that he will not be available in the Test against Zimbabwe either due to the need for rehabilitation and rest.

Mahidul Islam Ankon is going to get a chance in the Test team in Litton's absence. He has played one Test for the national team before. Ankon got a chance in the XI as a substitute for Liton in that match against South Africa.

On the other hand, the possibility of young cricketer Amit Hasan making his Test debut has also become strong. Litton's absence has given the selectors an opportunity to think about a new combination.

However, the good news is that Litton is likely to return in the ODI series against Zimbabwe. Doctors and team management are monitoring his rehabilitation process. If his physical condition improves, he can be seen in the ODI team.

Meanwhile, Litton has already received permission from the Bangladesh Cricket Board to play in foreign leagues. He will participate in the Lanka Premier League as the foreign icon cricketer of Galle Gladiators.

Although Litton's absence is a big blow for the Bangladesh team, the selectors hope that the replacement players will be able to use the opportunity to prove themselves.
