Lyricist Mahbubul Khalid has turned public outrage and demands for justice over the brutal rape and murder of child Ramisa into a song titled “Ramisader Bichar” (Justice for the Ramisas).

Khalid wrote and composed the song, which reflects the anguish surrounding violence against children and the long-standing demand for justice in high-profile cases of sexual violence and murder.

The song features Khalid alongside singers Avanti Sithi, Rafsan and Tutul. Its lyrics invoke Ramisa alongside other victims, including Achiya and Nusrat, highlighting cases where justice has remained elusive.

“Ramisader Bichar” has been released on the Khalid Sangeet YouTube channel and is also available through the artists’ official Facebook page and website.

Khalid has previously written songs inspired by cases involving Aduri, Felani and child victim Asiya of Magura. His works have frequently addressed social injustice, violence and crimes against vulnerable people, using music as a form of protest and public awareness.

The new song continues that theme, giving musical expression to the public’s grief over Ramisa’s death and the demand for accountability.
