Maldives and Nepal congratulate Tarique Rahman

Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu and Nepal's interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki congratulated BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman after his victory in the 13th parliamentary elections.

They expressed their congratulations in separate posts on social media Facebook on Friday. The Maldives President said that he is eager to work closely with Tarique Rahman to further deepen the long-standing friendship and cooperation with Bangladesh. He also expressed hope that the partnership between the two countries will be strengthened and new opportunities will be created in the future.

On the other hand, Nepal's Prime Minister Sushila Karki congratulated the government and people of Bangladesh for successfully organizing the 13th parliamentary elections. At the same time, she congratulated Tarique Rahman for leading the Bangladesh Nationalist Party to victory in the elections.

She said that she looks forward to working with Tarique Rahman to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest and further strengthen neighborly relations between Bangladesh and Nepal.
