Media aspirant Sonia earns international recognition in India

Sonia Ray, a young Bangladeshi woman chasing her dream of working in the media, has earned recognition on the international stage. She participated in the 'Miss Teen International 2024' competition in India, competing against contestants from nearly 30 countries and showcasing her talent and confidence.

Sonia won the 'Best in Intro Video' honour at the competition, which is considered recognition of her creativity and presentation skills. Having been involved in dance since childhood, she has displayed her skills on stage and in front of the camera, which was clearly reflected in her performance on the international stage.

She is currently an SSC candidate at SOS Hermann Meiner College in Dhaka. Her ancestral home is in Barishal. Alongside her studies, Sonia dreams of working in the media and wants to establish herself through good work in the future.

Sonia said her family's full support is behind her journey, which constantly inspires her. Participating on the international stage has been an important experience for her, giving her the confidence to work on a larger scale in the future.

Her achievement is seen as not only a personal success but also a matter of pride for the country. She is becoming an inspiration for the younger generation.
