Metro rail services in Dhaka will be suspended for 40 minutes on Tuesday to mark Victory Day, the Metro Rail Passengers Community-Dhaka announced on Monday (December 15). The suspension will take place at 11:50am and continue till 12:30pm. Passengers visiting the old airport area for the air show are advised to alight at Agargaon Station between 8:00am and 10:00am. The notice also reminded passengers that eating and drinking on trains and at stations is prohibited and requested cooperation to maintain&nbsp;cleanliness.

মহান বিজয় দিবসের দিন (১৬ ডিসেম্বর) প্যারাট্রুপারদের নিরাপত্তার স্বার্থে মেট্রোরেল চলাচল ৪০ মিনিট বন্ধ থাকবে। সোমবার এক সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে মেট্রোরেল পরিচালনাকারী কোম্পানি ঢাকা ম্যাস ট্রানজিট কোম্পানি লিমিটেড (ডিএমটিসিএল) এই তথ্য জানায়। এতে বলা হয়, ১৬ ডিসেম্বর মহান বিজয় দিবস উপলক্ষে সকাল ১১টা ৫০ মিনিট থেকে ১২টা ৩০ মিনিট পর্যন্ত (৪০ মিনিট) মেট্রোরেল চলাচল বন্ধ থাকবে। আরও বলা হয়, পুরাতন বিমানবন্দরে ‘এয়ার শো’ দেখতে আগত যাত্রীরা সকাল ৮টা থেকে ১০টার মধ্যে আগারগাঁও স্টেশনে নামবেন। এছাড়া এ শর্ট নোটে ট্রেন ও স্টেশনে পানাহার নিষিদ্ধ জানিয়ে পরিচ্ছন্নতা বজায় রাখতে সবার সহযোগিতাও কামনা করা হয়।
