Initial reports said two of the dead were “Iranian advisors” to a Tehran-backed group.

Trump calls for help on the Strait of Hormuz—


US President Donald Trump has sought help from allies to secure the Strait of Hormuz. However, European countries have objected to a possible operation to reopen the vital waterway, which has been closed by Iran.

Israeli President calls on Europe—


Israeli President Isaac Herzog told AFP that Europe should support Israel’s fight against Hezbollah as it launches a ground operation in Lebanon.

Lebanon was drawn into the conflict after Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed in a US-Israeli strike on March 2, when Hezbollah attacked Israel.
