Modi said India and Israel continue to deepen their long-standing strategic partnership across multiple sectors.

The phone call comes months after Modi's visit to Israel in late February 2026. Days after that trip, the United States and Israel launched military strikes on Iran, triggering political debate in India, where opposition parties criticised the timing of the prime minister's visit.

Neither New Delhi nor Tel Aviv released further details about the latest conversation.
