More than 110 Rohingya arrested in Myanmar
More than 110 Rohingya from the war-torn western part of Myanmar were arrested, when they attempted to leave the country for Malaysia. As per AFP report, they were arrested while attempting to travel from Myanmar to Malaysia.
A local security source said that on Tuesday, fifty-nine men and fifty-eight women were taken into custody from two trucks in Thanbyuzayat township in eastern Mon state.
The source said the gather was headed for Malaysia through Thailand.
According to beginning reports, the bunch voyage to begin with by pontoon from Sittwe and Maungdaw in Rakhine state and were afterward picked up by traffickers in Thanbyuzayat for the forward travel to Thailand some time recently being surrendered.
