Morocco and Haiti locked in thrilling 2-2 draw at half-time
Morocco and Haiti are locked in a pulsating 2-2 stalemate at half-time in their World Cup Group C match in Atlanta, following a chaotic and high-octane first half.
Haiti shocked the favourites early when a Lenny Joseph attempt deflected off Yassine Bounou for an own goal in the 10th minute. Morocco surged back through an Achraf Hakimi equaliser in the 39th minute, only for Wilson Isidor to restore Haiti's lead with a stunning long-range strike in the 43rd minute.
However, the drama continued as Ismael Saibari fired home in stoppage time to level the score once again.
Morocco had a golden opportunity to take the lead when Diaz found himself in a dream position inside the penalty area, but his tame first-time effort sailed over the crossbar.
