Morocco dramatically pulled level in the first minute of stoppage time as Issa Diop scored to make it 1-1 against the Netherlands, shattering the Dutch dream of a last-16 spot and sending the match into extra time. The Netherlands had taken the lead through Cody Gakpo in the 72nd minute and looked set to hold on for victory. But deep into added time, Morocco launched a brilliant attack and equalised through Diop to send their fans into ecstasy. Morocco had dominated possession and attacks throughout the match and were finally rewarded with a late equaliser. The two sides will now play extra time to decide who progresses to the last 16. If the deadlock remains, the match will go to a penalty shootout.
