Mosharraf Karim denies harassment in Kolkata

A news story about actor Mosharraf Karim spread on social media on Tuesday morning (June 16). It was claimed that some Awami League-backed people tried to misbehave with him while he was in Kolkata with his wife and actress Robena Reza Jui.

The matter quickly sparked discussion on social media centered on a Facebook post. Later, the news was also published in some media outlets. However, when questions arose about the authenticity of the matter, Rashed Mamun Apu, general secretary of the Actors' Association, was contacted, but he could not provide any specific information on the matter.

Finally, Mosharraf Karim himself opened up about the rumors. In a response to a media outlet, he said that the way the incident was publicized on social media, nothing much happened in reality.

Mosharraf Karim told the media, "Various things are spread on Facebook with exaggerated colors. But this incident does not have the necessary material to write a news article." "Nothing much happened, really."

He also urged everyone not to listen to rumors.

It is learned that Mosharraf Karim and Robena Reza Jui are currently in Kolkata for personal vacation, not for any shooting or professional work. They are scheduled to return to Dhaka in the next three to four days.
