Mosharraf Karim, Faruque Ahmed reunite on screen after five years

Popular television actors Mosharraf Karim and Faruque Ahmed are set to reunite on screen after nearly five years, teaming up once again for the drama “Chairman’s Husband.”

The two actors have previously won audiences over with their comic timing and memorable on-screen chemistry in dramas including “Behind the Scene,” “Fad O Bogar Golpo,” “Moneybag,” “Behind the Trap” and the popular “Sikandar Box” series.

Their latest project, directed by Sujit Biswas, casts the pair as two brothers whose relationship is marked by constant bickering, family tensions and plenty of humour.

Faruque Ahmed plays the elder brother, whose eccentric behaviour frequently puts him at odds with Mosharraf Karim’s character. Their clashes, comic exchanges and everyday family squabbles form the central thread of the story.

Faruque Ahmed expressed his excitement about working with Mosharraf again, saying the two finally got the opportunity to be part of a project they both enjoyed. He said they completed the shoot with enthusiasm after the long break.

The veteran actor also praised Mosharraf’s dedication to his craft, particularly his focus and commitment to his character during filming.

Shooting for the drama recently wrapped in Pubail, Gazipur. Neelanjona Neela, Saika Ahmed and Nure Alam Nayan are also part of the cast.

The drama is scheduled to be released on YouTube soon.
