Muhammad Abdul Muhith appointed Bangladesh High Commissioner to London

Muhammad Abdul Muhith has been appointed as Bangladesh's High Commissioner to London. The appointment has been made on a contractual basis for two years, cancelling his remaining tenure as Rector of the Foreign Service Academy.

The Public Administration Ministry's Contract and Foreign Recruitment Wing issued a notification on Monday, August 24, regarding the appointment.

The notification stated that Muhammad Abdul Muhith has been appointed as High Commissioner of Bangladesh to the Bangladesh High Commission in London with the status of Grade-1 on a contractual basis for two years from the date of joining, on condition that his unutilised post-retirement leave and related benefits remain suspended and he abandons any other profession, business or employment with any government, semi-government, private institution or organisation.

It further stated that the other terms and conditions of this appointment will be determined through a contract.
