Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman had to be rushed to the hospital after being struck on the head during a Comilla Victorians training session on Sunday.

The left-arm pacer was left bleeding after being struck by a shot from Litton Das, who was batting in an adjoining net. Mustafizur received first aid at the venue before being taken to the hospital for subsequent treatment in the stand-by ambulance.

According to the Comilla Victorian's statement, after a scan at Chattogram's Imperial Hospital, it was found that Mustafiz had only external injuries, no internal injuries.

Team physio Zahidul Islam said, "After the CT scan, we are satisfied that he had only external injury, there was no intracranial bleeding. Now surgical team has given him stitches for open wounds. Now he is under close supervision of Comilla Victorians team physio."

Mustafiz has played 9 matches in this year's BPL so far. He captured 11 wickets. Getting 3 wickets with 32 runs was the best bowling of Mustafiz in this year's BPL.

There are no matches of the BPL today. Comilla will play against Sylhet Strikers on Monday.
