The National Citizens Party (NCP) has reaffirmed its commitment to continue its political fight until the ideology of Mujibism is brought to an end. Speaking at the “July March” in Munshiganj on Friday, NCP Coordinator Nahid Islam condemned attempts to suppress the party through attacks and legal cases.

“We cannot be silenced by violence or litigation. A new phase of struggle for nation-building is underway, and we are preparing ourselves accordingly. The NCP’s fight will persist until Mujibism ceases to exist,” said Nahid Islam. He also urged the government to guarantee voting rights for expatriate Bangladeshis.

Sarjis Alam, the chief organizer of NCP’s northern region, stressed the need for united resistance against armed militants in Gopalganj. “We must protect our comrades and ensure their safety. Hasina must be brought back to Bangladesh and held accountable. We demand the highest punishment for her,” he said.

Hasnat Abdullah, chief organizer of the southern region, expressed concern over ongoing domestic and international conspiracies targeting Bangladesh. “Reform transcends any single political party; it is about the future of our nation. We seek governance based on policies and principles, not on individual leaders or parties. No one is above the law,” he added.

The march today highlighted the party’s resolve to mobilize supporters and press for reforms aimed at national progress.
