Bangladesh produced a clinical bowling performance to dismiss Zimbabwe for just 141 runs in the third ODI of the series at Harare Sports Club on Monday, July 6.
After winning the toss, Bangladesh opted to field first, and the decision paid off handsomely. Nahid Rana claimed a career-best 6 wickets, while Taskin Ahmed took 2 and captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz picked up 1.
Zimbabwe's top order crumbled early under Taskin's attack, with Ben Curran run out for 18 and Brian Bennett caught for 17. Craig Ervine fell for a golden duck.
Nahid Rana then ran through the middle and lower order, dismissing Innocent Kaia (26), Sikandar Raza (1), Wesley Madhevere (0), Clive Madande (2) and Brad Evans (3) to leave the hosts reeling at 70 for 8.
Newman Nyamhuri and Richard Ngarava then put on a 63-run ninth-wicket partnership to take Zimbabwe past 100. Ngarava fell for 27, caught by Rana, while Nyamhuri top-scored with 33 off 51 balls before being caught by Tanzid Hasan Tamim off Miraj.
Zimbabwe were bowled out for 141 in 36.4 overs.
