Narcotics found in Gaza aid flour, Palestinians allege US-Israel conspiracy
Palestinian authorities have accused the United States and Israel of conspiring to weaken Palestinian society by distributing aid bags containing drugs in Gaza.
According to a report published by Al Jazeera on Friday (June 27), a powerful narcotic pill named 'Oxycodone' was found inside flour bags distributed across Gaza. While commonly used as a painkiller, Oxycodone is highly addictive and dangerous when misused.
Gaza’s Government Media Office (GMO) confirmed that at least four citizens discovered these narcotic pills inside flour bags received as aid. It further raised concerns that in some cases, the pills may have been crushed or dissolved into the flour itself—posing a severe threat to public health.
In a statement, the Media Office alleged that Israel is attempting to destabilize Palestinian society from within through the use of narcotics. It claimed that exploiting the blockade to smuggle drugs under the guise of aid is a serious violation of human rights and international law.
“The use of drugs as a weapon against civilians is part of Israel’s dirty war policy,” the statement said. “This is a deliberate attempt to destroy the social fabric of Palestine.”
Meanwhile, on the same day, Israeli attacks killed at least 72 more people in Gaza and wounded at least 174 others. According to Gaza's Ministry of Health, Israel’s ongoing military operation has so far killed 56,331 Palestinians and injured another 132,632.
